The hand drawn logo for Contenders Boxer Briefs is inspired by vintage logos of the 50's. These boxers and its logo are inspired by boxers. It is used on all print & web media, POP Displays and showcased on the jacquarded waist band of each boxer brief.

Problem:
This historic Water Company from 1871 was in need of a slight update. They saw an opportunity to do so by requesting merchandise and promotional concepts to be sold both online and inside of their corporate store.
Solution:
I created various designs that were modern but slightly distressed. I used easily recognizable imagery and clean typographic compositions for designs that could easily be placed on promotional items.

The hand drawn "Zissou" Print was designed for Tankfarm & Co's Spring/Summer 2015 Apparel Line. It was inspired by classic 50s/60s Floral prints and will be featured on short sleeve button ups and swim trunks. It will be featured in two colorways: Black Chambrey and Blue Chambrey. The Geometric Typeface is inspired by Analytic Geometry or Coordinate Geometry. It is based upon "The Coordinate Plane" where the position points on the plane are described using an ordered pair of numbers.

2014 Roasters of the Year, Portola Coffee Lab and Heritage Inspired Men's Retailer Tankfarm & Co. joined forces to create this rich "Motor Oil" bottled cold brew. The label was designed to evoke a classic american feel and features mid century inspired fonts and layout. Motor Oil is sold at Portola's Theoreom Coffee Shops and Tankfarm & Co. locations and website.

It showcases the strong lines of Red Wing's classic "Iron Ranger" with keywords taken directly from their mission statement. This t-shirt was launched at a joint event sponsored by both brands and is sold exclusively at Tankfarm & Co. locations and online.
